Shells and Cheese

This is something I found which is reflective of what I may want to do, in that it is giant shells (over 6ft). They actually are horn loudspeakers, and they all play a sound from the ocean. There is also a moving version (litereally, not emotionally) of this piece, where people in fish suits run around pulling versions of the shells behind them. It is hard to understand what's going on from the picture, but you can see more about it here. I think this project is helpful because it gives me ideas of how to display a giant shell. I can also learn from it by looking at the things I don't like, which are: the rainbow coloring, the shells being in a row, and the logical choice of ocean sounds. And the plastic-y texture.
