the Secret Hole

This is a installation using bone conduction done at NYU. It is based on a chinese story about a "hole of secret," where a woman whispers her secret into a hole and then covers it with mud. In this installation, people call in on a phone and have their secrets recorded prior to the installation. Then, when people put their heads on the installation, they can hear the secrets distorted and overlapping. Max/msp (or whatever it's called) is used to transfer the phone calls to the installation.
